Setting Up iOS 7 Using IMAP

  • From the home screen, tap Settings
  • On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  • Tap Add Account
  • Tap Other
  • Under the Mail subheading, tap Add Mail Account
  • Complete the following fields:
    • Name – The name that will be displayed when emailing others
    • Email – Your full email address
    • Password – Your email account password
    • Description – Used to identify this email account on your iOS device (can be the same as your email address)
  • Tap Next
  • Tap IMAP
  • Enter your Incoming Mail Server information:
    • Host Name: mail.YOURDOMAIN.com
    • User Name: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email account password
  • Enter your Outgoing Mail Server information:
    • Host Name: mail.YOURDOMAIN.com
    • User Name: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email account password
  • Tap Next
  • You may get a message saying Cannot Connect Using SSL twice. Tap Yes.
  • Tap Save
